Opening
The panto should begin as it always does with "On the green, beside the pinfold"
But in Kansas
(This is on video - we can use this to create a proper sepia scene and use effects ton put scratch marks on the film. We can also get actors to use still upper lip to make sure it is a very british film. We can put Pathe news on beforehand ….. a cartoon? ….. stuff about icecreams in the foyer …. oh and some very timely stuff …. the seats on the right hand side of the asuditorium are for those smiking Cigars whilst pipe smokers are on the left. Seats at the front are for children and others who are only smoking cigarettes.
Sepia First Scene (as in Zinderella?), lots of wind (trumpets, bassoon) and spinning (Alistair Campbell character - bury bad news)? Nasty ugly bike rider wants to take Toto on a tour of Aston's (slightly)gaybiker hotspots but the bike is an exercise bike with a basket case in the basket and Toto wants to go straight (to bed).
Uncle and Aunty shut the hatch as the wind comes but the wind comes up stronger (its a spinner) and on come a bunch of kids swirling branches and sticks while Goody Jarland collapses in a dizzy tizzy. Maybe have an old (wizard) ex-con who sells iron board covers and dusters door to door.
Its in colour
Next scene overly colourful - give the audience 3D spectacles. Get the lighting crew to go mad flicking the walls through the primary colours. Maybe some warhol like pics of the main characters.
or maybe we could use flourescent paint, black suits and UV light?
Middle
End
